This course is appropriate for: Everyone.
Course Purpose: Discusses the dangers of bloodborne diseases and methods of protection when contact cannot be avoided when responding to emergency situations. Instruction on proper use of personal protection equipment (PPE), proper way to cleanup a blood spill, and proper reporting of a body fluid (blood) contact. The class meets OSHA Standards.
Course Length: Typically take 2 hours.
