 Heartsaver First Aid

This course is appropriate for: anyone who is not a healthcare provider.

Course Purpose: This course contains four core modules, General Principles, Medical Emergencies, Injury Emergencies and Environmental Emergencies. The modules teach responders how to manage illness and injuries in the first critical minutes before professional help arrives. (No CPR or AED is taught in this class.)

Course Length: typically 3 hours

Heartsaver First Aid with CPR and AED

This course is appropriate for: anyone who is not a healthcare provider.

Course Purpose: This is the general public’s total solution in one package. This course contains four core modules, General Principles, Medical Emergencies, Injury Emergencies and Environmental Emergencies. The modules teach responders how to manage illness and injuries in the first critical minutes before professional help arrives. Included with the class is instruction and practice performing CPR and using an AED. While the CPR and AED are not as comprehensive as the Heartsaver CPR and Heartsaver AED classes, it is typically adaquete for anyone interested in knowing the basics of First Aid, CPR, and AED, in a time efficient class.
